Introducing . . .

Wax, Boogers, and Phlegm, my new medical blog. Medical tip of the day: if your phlegm is the color of the background on that page, you may have a lung or sinus infection. Ask your doctor. D.

Ooo nice. I would ask a question but I can't think of anything. My ears are usually pretty good and if I have an infection I can tell because when I close my eyes to shampoo my hair in the shower, I start to fall over.

Fortunately (crossing fingers) all my sinus stuff seems to have calmed down.

I love the way medical science mixes the old and the new. When I go visit my doc, half the time there's a blood test, and the other half the time it's a good ol' vision or smell check. "There's green goop coming out your nose? Bacterial infection," or "if your baby's crap stinks, it means..."
